Neil Bissoondath is a novelist, short story writer, essayist, and creative writing professor at Université Laval. He has published six novels, a novella, two short story collections, and the nonfiction work Selling Illusions: The Cult of Multiculturalism in Canada. Bissoondath was nominated for a Governor General’s Literary Award in 1998 for his novel The Worlds Within Her. He lives in Quebec City.
