This program connected unpublished writers with a literary mentor 

The Writers’ Trust Mentorship program ran annually for five years to support the careers and development of emerging Canadian writers. Three mentors each selected one mentee from a pool of applicants to provide support, guidance, and one-on-one instruction. Visit the program history to learn about mentors and mentees. 

While this program is no longer operating, Writers’ Trust continues to provide similar opportunities for emerging writers through the RBC Bronwen Wallace Award and WT Rising Stars.
