Wayde
Compton
Wayde Compton is the author of four books and the editor of two anthologies. He won the City of Vancouver Book Award in 2015 for his collection of short stories, The Outer Harbour, and he won a National Magazine Award (Silver) for Fiction in 2011. He has been a finalist for two other City of Vancouver Book Awards as well as the Dorothy Livesay Poetry Prize. Compton teaches in the Department of Creative Writing at Douglas College. He lives in Vancouver.
