Samra Habib is the author of the national bestselling memoir We Have Always Been Here, which received a Lambda Literary Award. Their book was included in “The Globe 100: Books that shaped 2019” and won Canada Reads 2020 as the one book that brought Canada into focus. It was also longlisted for the RBC Taylor Prize and the Toronto Book Award. Habib lives in Toronto.
