Madhur Anand is a poet and ecologist whose debut collection of poems, A New Index for Predicting Catastrophes, was a finalist for the Trillium Book Award for Poetry. Her second collection of poems, Parasitic Oscillations, was named a top pick for spring poetry by the CBC and a Best Book of 2022 by The Globe and Mail. Anand’s debut book of prose, This Red Line Goes Straight to Your Heart, won the Governor General’s Literary Award for English-language Nonfiction. She lives in Guelph.
