An award-winning newspaper writer and editor, Goyette is a past recipient of the Atkinson Fellowship in Public Policy and Grant MacEwan Author’s Award. She lives in Edmonton and at Berton House during her October to December residency worked on a nonfiction book exploring the evolving nature of childhood in northwestern Canada.
