Jesse Winter
Jesse Winter is an award-winning writer and photojournalist who has been covering wildfires and other climate-related disasters since 2018. His work has appeared in publications including The New York Times, CNN, The Guardian, and Macleans. In 2022, he was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in feature photography as part of a team of Reuters photographers. His work covering the 2023 wildfire season in BC was nominated for two National Newspaper Awards and won the Edward Burtynsky Award for Climate Photojournalism. He lives in Vancouver.
