Janika Oza
Janika Oza is a writer, editor, and educator based in Toronto. She is the author of the novel A History of Burning, which won the 2024 Asian/Pacific American Award for Literature and was a finalist for the Carol Shields Prize for Fiction, a Governor General’s Literary Award, and the Dayton Literary Peace Prize. Her work has appeared in BOMB Magazine, The New York Times, The Toronto Star, and The Kenyon Review. Oza is the 2025 writer-in-residence at the University of Toronto Scarborough.
