Jane
O'Hara
Jane O’Hara is a journalist and author of three books. For close to 30 years she worked for a variety of publications, mainly with Maclean’s Magazine, the Toronto Sun newspaper chain, and FP News Service. She has covered politics from bureau chief positions in New York, London, and Vancouver. She was the first woman sports editor at a major Canadian newspaper, the Ottawa Sun. She has won two National Magazine Awards – including the President’s Medal for the best overall magazine journalism in Canada – for her series on rape in the mlitary.
