Cody Caetano

Cody Caetano is a writer and literary agent at CookeMcDermid from the Pinaymootang First Nation. His memoir, Half-Bads in White Regalia, won the 2023 Indigenous Voices Award for Best Published Prose, was shortlisted for the 2023 Edna Staebler Award, and longlisted for the 2023 Toronto Book Award, the 2023 Stephen Leacock Memorial Medal for Humour, and Canada Reads 2023. It was named one of the best books of the year by The Globe and Mail and CBC Books. Excerpts of the manuscript received the 2020 Indigenous Voices Award for Best Unpublished Prose. Caetano is at work on a novel and lives in Toronto.
