Brett Josef Grubisic is a novelist and editor, and professor of English at the University of British Columbia. He is the author of two novels, The Age of Cities, which was a finalist for the City of Vancouver Book Prize, and This Location of Unknown Possibilities. He has edited and co-edited several anthologies, including Contra/Diction: New Gay Male Fiction, which highlights stories that represent lives outside the urban middle-class mainstream.
