It is in the spirit of George and Inge Woodcock that the writer in need is not put through a demeaning process of application and the assessment is conducted swiftly and fairly.

To date, the Fund has distributed more than $420,000 in financial support to more than 110 Canadian writers, a number of them prominent and established in their respective fields.
