The Writers’ Trust Gala is a true celebration of Canadian writers with an author seated as the guest of honour at every table. Table purchasers invite ten guests or a table is comprised of ten individual ticket holders while the Writers’ Trust invites a prominent Canadian or international author to join each table.

The event is held in the elegant ballroom of the Four Seasons Hotel in Yorkville. Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception, with passed hors d’oeuvres and a host bar, before dining on a delectable three-course meal prepared by talented hotel chefs. During dinner guests will play a literary game that pits table against table. As in years past, a friendly spirit of competition will enliven the evening as devoted book-lovers compete in a quiz of literary trivia.
