About the Story

In a spellbinding postmodern fairy tale, bears, bees, and shrinking humans populate the small world of the fur trader’s daughter, who is so much more than she first appears to be.

About the Author

Seyward Goodhand’s short fiction has appeared in Queen Street Quarterly, echolocation, and PRISM nternational. This year, she won a fellowship in the SLS Fiction Poetry Contest. She is currently working on a collection of stories and finishing a doctorate in Early Modern Literature from the University of Toronto.
