Vivek Shraya

Jury Citation

Vivek Shraya tackles big ideas of identity, desire, love, and otherness to create unique and evocative explorations of sexuality and belonging. The poignant stories in God Loves Hair and the compelling mashup of a coming of age tale and Hindu mythology that is She of the Mountains prove Shraya to be a welcome new talent.
